Clenbuterol ist ein langwirkendes Antiasthmatikum und Broncholytikum. LABA werden im Allgemeinen als Zweitlinienbehandlung bei Asthma empfohlen, bei dem die symptomatische Linderung mit SABA und Kortikosteroiden nicht ausreichend ist.
